She was predeceased by: her father Edward Baier. She is survived by: her husband James Bartley; her sons, Matthew Bartley (Rachel Stewart) of New Britain, CT and Christopher Bartley (Carmelissa) of Pittsford, NY; her grandchildren, Maya, Emma, Caspian and Carissa; and her siblings, Beth Smith (Rob) of Atlanta Georgia and Ned Baier (Anne) of Lutz, Florida..
She returned to her educational roots to supervise student teachers from 2016 until her illness, and she also supervised students on Zoom during Covid.
