He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Guzman and Marta Guzman (Ocasio); his siblings, Gilberto, Felipe, Lidia, Juanita and Paquita; and his niece Blanca Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Amelia Rivera; his children, Marisol Guzman, Julio Guzman and Samuel Guzman; his grandchildren, Adam and Eva Nelmary; his great grandchild Marina; his siblings, Martita Gonzalez and Fidel Guzman; and his nephew Piro Perez.
