She was predeceased by: her parents, John Goettel and Myrtle Goettel (Peake); her husband Daniel R. Davis, Jr.; and her stepdaughter Dawn M. Davis. She is survived by: her children, Rolland "Chip" Schmidt, Jr. (Cheryl Olmsted-Block) of Cato, Danette and Doreen Cooper (Curtis) of South Beloit, IL; her stepdaughters, Sharon Kelly of Hawaii and Dona Messinger of East Syracuse; her brother Robert Goettel (Anna) of Phoenix; and her grandchildren, Bradley Stevens (Angela), Nicole Erdley (Justin), Sierra Shanahan and Charles Scott. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
