He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Gilbert Thompson and Elsie Thompson (Lewis); his daughter Jacqueline Colarusso; and his siblings, James Thomspon and Ann Smegelsky.
He is survived by: his children, Karolyn "Candy" McDougal (Pete) and John Thompson (Kim); his siblings, David Thompson (Carolyn), Rita McCormack (Robert) and Theresa Thesier (Mark); and his grandchildren, Jamie White, Kristy Thuet, Vincent Mistico, Michael Mistico, Tina Johnson and Jackie Delucia. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
