She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Shafer and Doris Shafer (Hill). She is survived by: her husband Earl; her children, Sandy Brasher (Ernie), John Wilson, Wayne Wilson (Marjorie), Jamie Wilson and Edward Wilson; and her siblings, Peggy Johnson, Bruce Shafer (Barbara), Richard Shafer (Linda) and Dave Shafer (Vicki). She is also survived by four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (11 W Albany St, Oswego, NY 13126).
