Janet M. Rossiter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2024, at the age of 77, Janet M. Rossiter of Oswego, New York, born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jaekle and Betty Jaekle (Smegelsky); and the father of her children Kurt L. Rossiter. She is survived by: her husband Patrick T. Matthews; her children, Scott L. Rossiter (Trisha) of Mexico, Jody J. Rossiter (Jenn) of Penfield and Heather M. Woolson (Michael) of Oswego; and her grandchildren, Aden Renfer, Caitlin Rossiter, Madi Rossiter, Bella Rossiter, Kellan Rossiter, Hunter Woolson, Alisha Rossiter and Wyatt Woolson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (11 W Albany St, Oswego, NY 13126). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the Good Shepherd Church (134 E 5th St, Brooklyn, NY 11218).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Janet's name to the American Stroke Association.
