He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James M. Metcalf and Lura Metcalf (Peck); his grandparents, Wilson Metcalf and Emma Peck; his wife Nancy Metcalf (Covell); his children, Benjamin Metcalf (Cris) of Rochester, Margaret Pryor (Jack) of Oswego, James M. Metcalf (Karen) of Oswego and Adam Metcalf (Helene) of Oswego; his grandchildren, Marnie Akbar (Shamim), Patrick Metcalf, Joshua Pryor (Jennifer), Katie, Jake, Mariah Metcalf, Samuel, Sean, Josie and Wilson Metcalf; his great grandchildren, Trey Rorick, Finnian, Emma Pryor and Noah Metcalf-Akbar; and his nephews, David Covell (Patricia) and Michael Covell.
Due to Covid-Delta Variant concerns, those attending are asked to wear masks.
