He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond E. "Chubby" Hoey and Doris E. Wyman; his wife Helen L. Thompson of Oswego; his son Jamie R. Hoey; his siblings, John "Jackie" Hoey, Sandy Harrington, Ronnie and Bonnie; his children, John (Amy), Cathi and Shane (Aimee); and his siblings, Donald "Donnie" Hoey and Judith Rowe. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
