He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Regan and Nora Regan Sr. (Donovan); his siblings, Charles J. Regan Jr., John P. Regan, Mary Magnon, Noreen Culeton and Joan Layton; and his grandson James Regan III.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Regan (Kray); his children, Mary Theresa Black (Mick), James Regan Jr. (Tracy), Kevin Regan (Mae) and Shawn Regan (Patricia); his siblings, Dennis F. Regan (Patricia), Anne Familo and Kathleen Kolek (Henry); his grandchildren, Michael Black (Elisa), Paula Regan (Ethan), Shawn Regan II (Lauren), Kristin Regan (Stephen) and Johnathan Regan (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Azaiah Shepard, Brandon Black, Colt Black and Melanie Regan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (11 W Albany St, Oswego, NY 13126). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Parish and Shrine (103 W 7th St, Oswego, NY 13126).
