He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Syrell and Gladys Laird Syrell; and his brothers, Robert Syrell (Linda) and William Syrell (Rita). He is survived by: his wife Gloria J. Earl Syrell; his children, Michele Gregway (Thomas) of Mexico, NY, Kristen Syrell of Greenville, SC and Ronald Syrell of Williamstown; his brothers, Richard V. Syrell (Mary) of Mexico, NY and James E. Syrell (MaryAnn) of Oswego; and his grandchildren, Hannah Lavonier, Evan Gregway, Gabrielle Syrell and Andrew Gregway. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
