He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rice and Esther Rice (Bailey); his wife Murriel Rice (Spaulding); and his siblings, Donald Rice, Charles Rice, Pearl Taylor, Jenny Dyker, Ellen Rodriguez and Mary Gummer.
He is survived by: his sons, David Rice (Brenda) of Oswego, Edward Rice (Mary Jean) of Oswego and Kenneth Rice (Lisa Sheldon) of Oswego; his grandchildren, Stephanie Albee (David) and Stacey Raines (Hunter); his sister Ruth Owen (Butch) of Oswego; and his great grandchild Madison Albee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
