He is survived by: his wife Christine Matteson (Baum); his children, Regina Frost (Christopher), Rebecca Ende (Matthew) and Frederick Matteson Jr. (Renee); and his siblings, Lou Ann Daniels (Thomas), Marilyn Vinette (Richard) and Jay Matteson (Kristin). He is also survived by grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fred's name to the Oswego County Humane Society.
