She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Izyk and Mazie Izyk (Foley); and her brothers, William, Thomas and Michael Izyk.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph Cernaro of Oswego; her children, Patricia Gunther (Ronald) of Oswego and Joseph Cernaro (Lisa); her grandchildren, Joseph, Lauryn, Kourtney, Lacy and Nikolas; her great grandchild Zane; and her siblings, Edward Izyk (Joan) of Oswego and Elaine Chillson (William) of Oswego. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
