She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles P. Collins and Anna M. Collins (Hammill); her husband Edward J. Gibbons, Jr.; and her siblings, Charles M. Collins, Rita Collins, Kathleen "Katie" Collins and Jane Young.
She is survived by: her daughter Marie Gibbons; her son-in-law Makrem Dridi of Paris France; her grandchildren, Ramzey and Sofia; and her cousins, Jane Benton, Caroline, George Dodge, Kara DuPlessis and Mary Lou Hunt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
