It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward R. McCarty Sr. in Oswego, New York, born in Fulton, New York, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry McCarty and Anna McCarty (Green); his daughter Debra Munger; and his siblings, James, Albert, Ena, Mary, Cecelia and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth McCarty (Thompson); his children, Edward McCarty, Jr. (Carol), Linda Ouderkirk (Kenny), Mark McCarty, Susan Warner (Joseph), Kathy Warner (David Mannise) and Ruthann Searles (Tim); and his sister Lillian Fralic. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
