He was predeceased by: his father George M. Baptista; and his sons, David Baptista and Raymond Baptista. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Fosdick Baptista; his children, Tatra Cooley (Jack) of Oswego, Denise Baron (Glen) of Bostic, NC, Diane Albright of Fremont, Donna Mayton of Washington, Barry Fosdick (Jessa) and Donald D; and his siblings, Gene Baptista (Evelyn) of New London, CT., George Baptista of Stonington, CT., Robert Baptista (Colette) of Wichita, KS and Beverly Mills of Ridgway, IL. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
