He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barney and Ida Supernault Barney; and his grandson Shy Stanton. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Dawn Shurtleff (Roy) of Cato, Larry Barney (Peggy) of Florida and Shelly Stanton (Shy) of Hannibal; his granddaughters, Connie Pritchard (Jared), Stephanie Pawlenko (Robert), Catherine Emmons, Alicia Valenson and Amanda Valenson; his great grandchildren, Curtis, Austin, Annabelle and Dale; and his siblings, Patricia Dowie (Willian) of Oswego and Allen Barney (Margie) of Madrid.
