He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Parkhurst and Annabelle McCann Parkhurst; and his siblings, Freida Stone, Eleanor Spicer, Gordon, David, Roy, Richard and Irene.
He is survived by: his wife Irene "Bev" Allen Parkhurst of Oswego; and his children, Kimberly Gilbert (Greg) of Oswego, Donald (Chris Heydenreich) of Pennsylvania, Douglas Parkhurst (Donna) of Sodus, James Parkhurst (Linda) of Oswego and Robert Parkhurst (Jennifer) of Oswego. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
