It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores M. Joy of Oswego, New York, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joy and Mary Joy (Castiglia). She is survived by: her nieces, Carleen Palmitesso, Virginia Fragale (Joseph) and Charlene Fragale (Jack Woods); her nephew Grayson Woods; and her friend Renee Mournighan.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dolores' name to the Oswego County Humane Society, 29 W Seneca St #1542, Oswego, NY 13126, or Paws Across Oswego County, 2035 County Rte 1, Oswego, NY 13126.

“Dolores was an Aunt to my dad, Jack Flaisman, although only a year older. Dolores recounted tales of Dad dragging her to watch the trains on his visits from Cleveland, Ohio, and how her Mom forbid them to enter her garden. Her home was filled with the warmth of family love and memories that now only the walls will remember. I'm grateful for the short time I was able to spend with my wonderful great-aunt. Now Dolores & Dad can run in God's gardens. Rest in Gods hands, Theresa Flaisman Wolf”
