He was predeceased by: his wife Janice Whitcomb; his parents, Guy Whitcomb and Dorothy Whitcomb; and his brother Joseph Whitcomb. He is survived by: his children, James Whitcomb (Lisa), Elizabeth Lippert, Susan Pritchard (Gerry), John Whitcomb (Stacey) and Mary Kalabanka (David); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Rebecca, Samantha, Michelle, Julia, Joseph, Nicole, Alex, Jacob, Ryan, Colin and Jack; and his sister-in-law Lettie Whitcomb. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carl's name may be made to American Cancer Society or plant a tree in his memory.
