He was predeceased by: his parents, George Peabody, Sr. and Jane Peabody (Webb). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Peabody; his children, John Jr., Gina Peabody, Julie Kaffenberger, James, Jo-Ann Peabody, Jeffrey Peabody, Joseph Peabody, Jerry, Jennifer Peabody, Jayne and Kevin Rieman; and his siblings, George Peabody, Vesta Thomas and Stella Jackson. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews.
His family requests that no flowers be sent, but memorial donations be made to the Russell Pilgrim Holiness Church, 3639 Main Street, Russell NY 13684.
