William 'Billy" J. Bulger 78, of Ossining, N.Y. passed away on March 21, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born on Jan.4, 1940 to the late Edward and Catherine Bulger in Brooklyn, N.Y. A graduate of Ossining High School, class of 1958 and proudly served in the US Army from 1961-1965. He was a Firefighter for the Village of Larchmont, retiring in 1990 and a retired member of the Bricklayers & Craftworkers Union Local #5 in Tarrytown, N.Y. Billy was a 54 year member of the Ossining Fire Department, Washington Hook & Ladder Truck 42. He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Carol and his loving daughter, Denise Ryan and son in law, Robert Ryan. "Pa's" cherished grandchildren, Heather, Shane, and Preston and brother, Michael. Also survived by his sister and brother in law, Kathy and Eugene Buonanno and nieces, Marlaina and Corie and nephew, Devin. The family would especially like to thank Billys wonderful caregivers, Delenah, Novelette, Liz and Bryan for their excellent care and would also like to thank the Phelps Memorial Hospital Center Doctors and Nursing staff for Billys care. Reposing, Leach & Thomas Funeral Home, Ossining, N.Y. (New Location) on Friday (today) 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, St. Ann's Church, Ossining, N.Y. on Saturday, 10 AM. Interment, St. Augustine's Cemetery, Ossining, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ossining Fire Department, would be appreciated.
