He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father John Filippi; his daughters, Karen Camilli, Audrey Filippi, Barbara Kluender and Jacqueline Lema; his wife Lillian; his sisters, Eileen Ciullo and Dorothy Maiolini; his sons, Robert and Thomas; and his grandson Shane Doebel. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Instead of flowers, donations can be made to the Putnam Human Society, in honor of Robert's unconditional love for all animals.
