In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Helen leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Helen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her mother Annie Ruth Martin; her close friend Rosenell Ruffin; and her son Emanuel Cleo McKever III. She is survived by: her father Emmanuel Cleo McKever Sr.; her daughter Tracy McKever; her grandchildren, Samoni and Myles McKever; and her siblings, Hazel Ann Sumner (Leroy Sumner), Barbara Adair and Emmanuel C. McKever II. She is also survived by her nieces, great nephews, extended family, and a host of cherished friends.
