He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Holsten and Harry Holsten. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Christine Schuler (John), Susan Madera (Luis) and Joanne Prince (Glenn); his grandchildren, Tyson, Michael, Betsy, Madison, Jaden and Christopher; and his brother Harry.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Grace Episcopal Church, PO Box 108, Ossining NY 10562 in George's memory.
