He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Johnston and Edith Wormuth Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Veronica Lakin; his children, Steven (Sandy), Kim Sacra, Timothy (Jenny), James of Oriskany, William Patrick (Annalisa) and Christopher of Oriskany; and his sister Doris Ferrara of Binghamton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
