He is survived by: his wife Janet I. Rice Buchanan; his children, Sherry Solcum of Oriskany Falls, Susan Laliberte of Oriskany Falls, Shane Buchanan of Ilion, Darin Buchanan of Oriskany Falls, Devon Buchanan of Hubbardsville and Aaron Buchanan of New Berlin; and his brothers, Robert Buchanan of Vienna and Ronald Buchanan of Partlow, VA.. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
