It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Margaret Balfe (Oriskany, New York), born in Utica, New York, who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Trinkaus and Lillian Trinkaus (Mitchell); and her brother Michael Trinkaus. She is survived by: her children, David Balfe (Debbie Ann), Vernon, Robert A. Balfe (Kimberly), Thomas Balfe (Wendy) and Melissa Holly; her grandchildren, Sierra, Alyssa, Robert G., Kayla, Derek, Nathan, Devyn, Olivia and Dayna; her great grandchild Aubriella; and her sisters, Diane Trinkaus (Jeanne MacDonald) and Maureen Dorian (Seamus). She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Mary Margaret's name may be made to the Abraham House in Rome.
