She was predeceased by: her parents, George Peek and Sara Davis Peek; her husband Emil Burk; her son Alan Burk; and her siblings, George Peek, Glen Peek, Will Peek, Louise Herman, Eloise Meyers and Ruth Ashley.
She is survived by: her children, Karen and Larry (Kelly Burk) of Leesburg, VA; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Richard Mellini, Brendan Burk, Tom, Brianna Burk, Jeremy Burk and Justin Burk; her daughter-in-law Mine Veral-Burk; her great grandchildren, Sammy Burk, Maggie Jo Burk, Gianna Mellini and Devin Mellini; her nieces and nephews, Brad Herman, Woody Herman, Tom Peek, Margaret Morse and Ginny Saville; and her cousin Richard Bedner.
