She was predeceased by: her son Dennis Smith; her sisters, Isabelle Lyne and Shirley Brauch; and her brothers-in-law, Bancroft Countryman and Don Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Vernon A. Smith; her daughter Denise Shamis (Jim); her grandchildren, Hillary, Connor, James, Katie Shamis, Jeff and Tyler Smith; her daughter-in-law Beth Olson; her brother Bernard Reid; her sister-in-law Penny Smith; her cousin Elaine Collins (Leo Maloney, Jr.); and her close friend Patches. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
