She was predeceased by: her parents, David H. Cooney and Jill A. Holmes (Graham). She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Jane Kessler (Tyler Smith); her stepfather Peter K. Holmes; her siblings, David Cooney (Alvena Tierney), Kenneth Holmes (Kelly Mizgala), James Cooney (Brenda Head), Scott (Dawn Cooney) and Kelly Moyer (David Johnson); her nieces and nephews, Patrick, Robert, Casie "Buck", David Jr., Kenny, Andrew and Lainy; and her pet Petey.
