We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2022, at the age of 83, Janet I. Buchanan of Oriskany Falls, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Rice and Mina Furness Rice; her husband Ralph Buchanan; and her brothers, Stanley Rice and Karl Rice.

She is survived by: her children, Sherry Solcum of Oriskany Falls, Susan Laliberte of Oriskany Falls, Shane Buchanan of Ilion, Darin Buchanan of Oriskany Falls, Devon Buchanan of Hubbardsville and Aaron Buchanan of New Berlin. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
