He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Boss and Minnie Jones; his stepfather Robert Jones; his son Edward Boss; his granddaughter Christina; his siblings, Frank Boss and Rose Boss; and his stepbrothers, Stanley and Bruce Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Anna; and his children, Linda (James Rogers), Sheila (Keith Pattison), James II (Diane Boss) and Brian (Jodi Boss). He is also survived by grandchildren, and 8 beloved great grandchildren.
