He is survived by: his wife Denise Dunford (Mahoney); his children, Brendan (Katelyn), Lauren (Keith), Ryan (Katie) and Matthew Dunford (Samantha); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Aiden, Molly, William, Patrick, McKenna, Luke, Connor, Jonathon, Jamie, Leo, Evelyn, Wes and Griffin; his siblings, Maureen McCabe (late Michael), Timothy (Kathleen), Patricia Shell and Terrance (Lorrie); his siblings-in-law, Diane Mahoney, Brian Mahoney (late Cami), Marguerite Mahoney and James F. Mahoney, Jr.; and his nephew Jason Shell.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James W. Cannan Funeral Home (3155 Orchard Park Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A Mass will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at 1140 Abbott Rd, Buffalo, NY 14220.
