He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Ursula Johnson (Weinheimer); his son William F. Jr.; and his parents, Clara Louise (Kistner) and Carlton Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Ursula (Harvey), Susan Wegman (Paul), Clare (Allan), Michael (Julie), Peter (Martha), Paul (Jamie), Mark (Tonya) and Adam (Joanne). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
During the Covid pandemic in 2020, Bill moved to Traverse City Michigan To be closer to daughter, Ursula.
