He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Schmitt and Edna Schmitt. He is survived by: his wife Leanne E. Schmitt; his daughters, Michelle Burns (Richard Jr.) and Tara Norton (Patrick); his grandchildren, Drew, Paige and Quinn; his siblings, Mary Ellen Goddard (late Albert), Ronald Schmitt, Nancy Mastrodonato (Joseph), Judy Yates (Robert) and James Schmitt; and his siblings-in-law, Deborah Kelly and Thomas Kelly (Laurie). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roger's memory to Hospice of Buffalo.
