He is survived by: his wife Ellen Kirchmeyer (Hoffman); his children, Elizabeth (Jeffrey), Battaglia, Richard Kirchmeyer III, Katharine Cassens (Ryan) and William Kirchmeyer (Kristie); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Nicholas, James, Camden and Madison; and his siblings, Sheryl (David), Penvose, Terri Startek (Michael), Tracey Kirchmeyer, Kim and Pusateri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
