He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Colmerauer and Angeline Colmerauer (Sabato); and his brother Mark Colmerauer (Joanne). He is survived by: his wife Karen Colmerauer (Kaiser); his daughter Catherine Shick (Daniel); his grandchildren, Lily and Allie; his siblings, Susan Polvino (John) and Matthew Colmerauer (Nicole); his mother-in-law Frances Kaiser (late William); and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn McDonnell (Charles "CJ"), Bill Kaiser (Kathryn) and Bob Kaiser (Laura). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
