She was predeceased by: her sibling Thomas DiaPaul (late Colleen). She is survived by: her husband Richard W. Skora; her daughter Cheryl Smith; her grandsons, Vincent Krzeminski (Chearity) and Cody Krzeminski; her great grandchildren, Lauralie and Vincent Krzeminski, Jr.; and her brothers, Ralph DiaPaul (late Marie) and Daniel DiaPaul (late Deborah). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John J Kaczor Funeral Home, Inc. (5453 Southwestern Blvd, Hamburg, NY 14075). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakeside Memorial Cemetery (4810 Camp Rd, Hamburg, NY 14075).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Foundation of WNY.
