Mary E. Shoemaker Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary E. Shoemaker (Orchard Park, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Drake and Betty Drake; and her brother Ray Drake. She is survived by: her husband Alan M. Shoemaker; her granddaughter Juliana; her children, Michael, Mark and Alexis Huth (Todd); her grandson Austin Shoemaker; and her sister Kathy Grimes (Drake). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
