She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Burns; her children, Mary Sanfilippo and James Burns; her parents, John Mowrey and Agnes Mowrey; and her siblings, Marie Crowley (Bernard), Jack Mowrey (Mary), Eileen Stephens (Leslie), Patricia Wolf (Charles), Janet Waggoner (Robert) and Diane Kuzdzal (Leslie).
She is survived by: her children, John Burns (Kathleen), Joseph Burns (Bonnie), Anne Desiderio (Robert), Kevin Burns (Emily), Kathleen Bordas (late Louis) and William Burns (Wendy); and her grandchildren, Kyla, Lucas, Jennifer, Shane, Christine, Brianna, Jenna, Robert, Thomas, Paul, Molly and Evan. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtown Chapel) (885 Niagara Fls Blvd, Amherst, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (263 Claremont Ave, Tonawanda, NY 14223). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (4000 Elmwood Ave, Kenmore, NY 14217).
Memorial contributions may be made to Buffalo Hospice or Blessed Sacrament Church.
