He was predeceased by: his wife Joann Rathbun (Daleo); his parents, Elmer Rathbun and Ruth Rathbun (Eichhorn); and his sibling Cyde Rathbun (late Donna). He is survived by: his daughters, Dr. Julie Rathbun (Tyler Nordgren) and Janette Elliott (Michael); and his stepgrandchildren, John Elliott (Caitlin) and Nicole Elliott (Steve Grande).
