George V. Schichtel Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George V. Schichtel (Orchard Park, New York), who passed away at the age of 93, on December 31, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph Schichtel and Elizabeth Ragan Schichtel; and his sisters, Ellen Schichtel Bateman, Betty Schichtel Brockman and Evelyn Schichtel Tarbox (Timmel).
He is survived by: his children, Constance Lydon (Matthew), George Schichtel (late Debra), Andrew Schichtel (Karen), Ruth Smith (Robert), Mary O'Reilly, Mark Schichtel (Julie) and Kristen Ryan (William); and his wife Mary Grubiak. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Because of the Covid health crisis a Celebration of George's Life will be held in the Spring.
