He is survived by: his wife Deborah Matala; his children, Amanda Battleson and Michael Matala; his grandchildren, Jeweleonna, Miley, Audrey, Michael, Elizabeth, Octavia and Zoey; and his sister Mary Fini. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
