He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Matala and Gloria Matala. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Matala; his children, Amanda Battleson and Michael Matala; his grandchildren, Jeweleonna, Miley, Audrey, Michael, Elizabeth, Octavia and Zoey; and his sister Mary Fini. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) (3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
