He was predeceased by: his daughter Susan A. Colern; and his siblings, Robert Colern (late Ethel "Babe"), Elizabeth Knoop (late Pasquale Malizia), Thomas Colern (late Shirley), Carol Feyes (late Jack) and Ernest Colern (Patricia).
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Colern (Banks); his daughter Diane M. Kelleher; and his sisters, Norma Huson (late Jake), Dolores Colern, Colleen Candurra (late Vincent) and Monica Tobin (late Michael). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the James W. Cannan Funeral Home (3155 Orchard Park Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Queen of Heaven Church (4220 Seneca St, West Seneca, NY 14224).
