He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nichols and Isabelle Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth R. Nichols; and his sisters, Arlene Ceier (late Richard) and Sandra Koepnick (Wayne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's honor to the SPCA of Erie County.
