With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine A. Lyons of Orchard Park, New York, who passed away on November 21, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Margaret Nielsen Lyons and Richard C Lyons, Jr.; and her siblings, Karen L. Goodman (Steve), Mary L. Stein (late Mark), Melissa Lyons Eyeington, Richard N. Lyons (Sheila) and Jennifer Lyons Greco.

She was a pioneer in so many areas of oncology nursing leadership, and a part of her and her work is evident in many cancer programs.”
