She was predeceased by: her husband Robert. She is survived by: her children, James, Brenda Ferra, Wayne, Gerald (Diana), Scott and Steven LaPlant; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Bradley and Thomas; her sister Dolly Bates (Mike); and her siblings-in-law, Leo, Gerard Farnand, Anne Farnand, Diane Howell (Gale) and Sheila Hake (James). She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Laurel House in Ruth's memory or a charity of one's choice.
