He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Mary. He is survived by: his wife Sandy (Memmo); his children, Mark Surowiec and Kathy Surowiec (Chuck); his grandchildren, Blade and Ilianna; his sister Joyce Kopec; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Memmo and Bob Remington.
