He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Farnand and Margaret Farnand. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Jimmy LaPlant, Brenda LaPlant, Wayne LaPlant, Jerry LaPlant (Diana), Scott LaPlant and Steve LaPlant; and his siblings, Leo Farnand, Gerry Farnand (Lise), Anne Farnand, Diane Howell (Gale) and Sheila Hake (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
